Stanley Joseph is an India born, Australia based
filmmaker known for his extremely different vision towards the cinema. He was
born and raised in India in a middle class family where his father was a
musician. Stanley did not appear in the film direction world until the release
of the movie, "Newton's third law", which was his first
movie as a director. Prior to his career in film making, Stanley was a popular
musician in India, where he started the first rock band called “Millennium”.
The early life of Stanley is marked by his interest
and success as a musician. Stanley began his melodic journey at a young age of
5. The music industry has always intrigued Stanley but to limit his vision and
direction only to the music was never his choice. He is a well-trained
guitarist, but he went on to directing various advertisements and a series of
television shows. As told by Stanley, he always believed in breaking limits of
his own benchmarks.
The artistic producer cum director once quoted, “The entertainment industry is a very diverse world
which has not been cemented due to its flexibility, creating a chance for
everlasting creativity". Stanley
has his own way of looking at the world and the same is reflected in his music
and direction.
Recently, the Indian-Australian director cum
producer has announced the release of his two feature films, namely, “My
cornerstone” and “Love you Krishna”. The most amazing fact about these two
movies is that they both were shot simultaneously and within a period of just
37 days. The two films were shot in two different countries, that is, Australia
and India. With this, Stanley has broken the record of Peter Jackson's “Lord of
the Rings".
The upcoming
movie ”My Cornerstone” is yet to be released in Australian box office
and is a much awaited feature film. Both his launches are based on a social
prejudice that is still existent in east and west. Known for his other launches
such as short stories like "What goes around comes around", Stanley
has raised the benchmark for the film industry, both in Australia and India.
Also, Stanley has always believed in promoting new talent and artists in all
the best possible ways.
With a career embarked with skill and creativity,
Stanley is expected to be one of the few enormously successful film makers and bring
laurels to his name.
