A lot has been going on in the news
about Stanley Joseph’s upcoming release, “My cornerstone” that is yet to be
released at the Australian box office. The latest news says that celebrities
from Hollywood are highly likely to attend the premiere of this much awaited
Australian film. It is reported that big Hollywood names like Tom Hanks and
Angelina Jolie may make a trip out to Australia for the premiere of this film.
Stanley’s film, co-written by James
Morcan, “My Cornerstone” is anticipated to be a major hit at the Australian box
office. Starring Zenia Starr, Romin Khan, James Morcan and other actors, the
film is based on the social evils that are still existent and are troubling the
Australian culture. The film is a journey of an Indian nurse (Played by Zenia
Starr) who moves to Sydney to be placed in the household of an
Indian-Australian family, the Pintos, to serve as a care taker of an elderly
lady. The story forms the experiences of the nurse at the residence of Pintos
and the bitter reality of the sick mentality of those who believe and practice
racism.
The film is in the news months before its launch due
to its very unique story behind its formation. Peter Jackson’s record of
shooting three movies at the same time, the prequels of “Lord of the Rings” has
been shattered and a new record of Stanley Joseph’s “My Cornerstone” and “Love
you Krishna” has been set. The two movies were shot within a period of 37 days
using the same cast and crew, in two different countries, that is, Australia
and India. This makes these two movies all the more special to watch. However,
both the movies are based on social evils and the plot is same, more or less. “Love
you Krishna” is reported to be released in December this year, however, there
has been no confirmation of the same from the team of Stanley Joseph.
It’s a heart-warming story and the story of its
unique formation could be two major reasons for the film to go a blockbuster.
Stanley’s extraordinary vision towards the cinema and his way of portraying the
same are the basic reasons why he is an outperformer amongst all the other
directors in the industry.
For now, the Hollywood stars may add more fame to
the occasion by attending the grand premiere of the film.
