James Morcan is a New Zealand born; Sydney based
Australian actor and author. James is also one of the well known film makers
and has written screenplay for various movies. James is also the co-writer of
the new feature film, “My Cornerstone” that will be released in April this
year.
Although, James Morcan is a famous actor and screen
writer, he has given major blockbusters like “The Pawn”, “Dark Knight” and
“Beverly Hills”. This actor cum writer is known for his extraordinary talent
and his unique way of acting. James is the co-writer of Stanley Joseph’s “My
Cornerstone” and has also played an important role of “Jesus Christ” in the film.
To talk about this upcoming launch, the
entertainment media has already said a lot about the same. This unique
production is anticipated to be a major hit at the Australian box office and if
that happens, it will be a great boost for James’s career. The movie is a
standout because it was shot within a period of 37 days along with another
movie, “Love You Krishna”, also starring James Morcan.
The actor has been in a talk with a news reporter
where he talked about his experience while shooting two movies together. He
says, “Shooting two movies at once is an extremely rare undertaking and
everybody in our incredibly talented crew was stretched to the limit. To be
honest, we almost bit off more than we could chew. I probably only averaged
three or four hours sleep a night over the last few months. There was literally
no time to think. But in a strange way that's kind of freeing for an actor as
you don't get too cerebral about the process.”
However, James refused to talk about his character
in the film by saying that the surprise for the audience will be ruined if he
revealed his role in the film. All he said was that he had an enigmatic role in
both the movies (“My cornerstone” and “Love You Krishna”).
A lot is known about James’s filming career and his
skills as a screen writer, but his talent is not just limited to acting. James
is a renowned author of various books such as "The ninth Orphan",
"Orphan Factory", "The Orphan Trilogy", "Fiji",
and many more.
The actor cum writer is in a good position in his
acting career and is expecting it to be even brighter after the launch of “My
cornerstone”.
