Tony Curtis – The Most Respected Actor

Tony Curtis turned popular after his great hits, namely, Some Like It Hot and The Defiant Ones that got released in 1950s. He is the only survivor of the golden age of Hollywood film industry and was well known for his critically acclaimed acting in both comic and dramatic roles in all his movies. Tony Curtis was nominated for Oscar awards in the year 1958, which made him turn into a reputed and one of the most respected dramatic actors in Hollywood. Anyone in this world can easily get attracted to Tony Curtis as he has the best dark and curly hair that is worn in a unique sculptural style. Blue eyed people have the capacity to become a successful person in their life, and Tony Curtis is one big example of that. His blue eyes in the movie named “The Great Race” was well appreciated by many people from all around the world. 

Tony Curtis had the guts to act as a feminized male beauty in 1959 and he was the first actor to try such unique make over in Hollywood. Tony Curtis was one good talent that was used well by Kubrick, the most wanted director in Hollywood. He was lucky enough to act with Marilyn Monroe and people loved the on-screen presence of them. After 1960, Tony Curtis turned into a drug addict, yet, it did not last for many years and he came out of at a point where he was in an urge to look after his beautiful kids. He is definitely an inspiration for many people who are looking forward to get rid of their addiction for anything in this world. He gave up all types of drugs for the sake of his kids and he did completely recover out of it. During the year 2002, Tony Curtis made a public appearance in the musical adaptation of his film "Some Like It Hot". 

Tony Curtis made many other public appearances in the upcoming years and he was last found to appear on a film named "David & Fatima". After this movie he has never come up to see the public. This Hollywood actor died three years back, because of a cardiac arrest, but he will forever be remembered for his work in Hollywood industry because he was a bizarre artist.
