A
young Indian nurse called Adina moves to Australia from India. She is placed in
household of wealthy Indian-Australian family. Her task is to take care of an
elderly lady, Lydia Pinto. Miriam Pinto, daughter-in-law of Lydia, treats Adina
like a slave. Samuel, Miriam’s husband tries to restrain his wife’s attitude
towards Adina. At the same time, Eli Pinto, son of Miriam falls for Adina.
Miriam gets to know about her son’s infatuation for the nurse and arranges his
marriage with a wealthy socialite. Tensions
increase inside the Pinto’s house for the impossible romance between Adina and
Eli. Miriam and Samuel pretend to love her to inherit the property and
business. At last Adina is forced to reveal the secret. An enigmatic neighbour
called Chris, helps to resolve the conflicts in Pinto’s mansion. Chris
influences everyone in the house with multiple healings. Chris’s presence opens
up a novel mystery in the story.
