The
upcoming film “My cornerstone” is about to create a smash hit at the box office
owing to the laborious contribution from the director, Stanley Joseph. This
Australia based Indian director has stolen the show within a very short period
of time with is channelized ways of work and unbelievably unique concepts. He
has a tilt towards making India-Australian mixed culture movies to attract the
crowd of both the communities. Such films are putting their first footsteps in
Australian cinema holding the fingers of Stanley!
Stanley
Joseph, deserves an applause for completing the shooting of two of his films
together, namely “My cornerstone” and “Love you Krishna” within a period of 37
days only. The first one will be released in April and the latter is expected
by the end of this year. With “My cornerstone” at the edge of unveiling, is a
result of long hours of work and tremendous labour. With only 10% of the shots
taken in Mumbai, the rest of the movie has been shot in Australia. Thanks to
Stanley’s team management capacity, which is the key to his systematic work and
planned output. But there have been unplanned instances when the innovative
director made up on spot scenes to add some more spice to the movie. These will
definitely excite the emotional nerves of the viewers after the movie releases
in April this year.
The
screenplay writer as well as an important character in the movie, James Morcan
also praised the director’s unusual strength of creativity and team playing skills.
Stanley Joseph started his career as a musician in India, where he was the lead
guitarist in his rock band “Millennium”. But he never limited himself with only
one career path to follow and kept on nurturing his other creative potential as
well.
With
the arrival of Joseph to Australia in 1997, he created an interesting music
video called “Merry Christmas”. His potential was reflected through this video
which led him to making numerous Television commercials, Telefilms and
documentaries. After conquering the crowd with his television oriented jobs, he
went to expedite with the big screen having made “Newton’s Third Law- a movie
style which has not been created before. With “My Cornerstone” on the stairs of
the opening stage, Joseph has a long way to go on the Australian Silver Screen.
Joseph’s
vision is to create classy Australian Movies starring Hollywood actors, so that
he is not stereotyped as a director who only makes cultural crossover films.
