feature films, “Love You Krishna” and “My Cornerstone” simultaneously within a
period of 37 days. It is rare in the cinema industry that two independent

“My Cornerstone” is the first Australian-Indian cross culture film. This

The movie is about the gorgeous Indian nurse (Zenia Starr) who moves to
Sydney and is placed in the household of Pinto’s family. She is given a task to
take care of an elderly lady in this wealthy Indian-Australian family. The
Indian nurse strives hard to survive in that family. The head of the family of
Pinto mansion has a son (Romin Khan) who falls in love with the Indian nurse.
But his mom goes ballistic after knowing her son’s infatuation towards the
nurse. She arranges his marriage with a wealthy socialite. Tensions increase in
the family with the seemingly impossible romance between them. An enigmatic neighbour
(James Morcan) appears to resolve the conflicts in Pinto’s mansion. He
influences everyone in the family with multiple healings to solve the issues.
His presence is the open mystery in this film.
Stanley is well-versed and extremely talented in creating such characters
in the movie. This is a sensitive and a brave plot of the filmmaker in the
current industry. The film is predicted to break the records with a new genre
of the film across the globe.
