Angelina Jolie – The Most Admirable Woman

Angelina Jolie, the Oscar winning actress and a professional model, was not only famous in Hollywood, she is also known worldwide for her charity works that has made many people get inspired from her in the recent years. Angelina Jolie's humanitarian works started in the year 2002 in which she met many people and gave some ears to hear about the problems, which they were facing in their life. This happened in the shooting spot of the film Tomb Raider in Cambodia. Angelina Jolie had said in an interview that meeting the people from the war-ravaged country made her to get into charity and other social works. She was not able to hear the suffering words from the people of Cambodia; she wanted to do something for them. This made her contact the most wanted United Nations High Commissioner about the ways she could help them. Later on, she made a decision to go for an overseas mission that can bring more awareness to everyone. She made an 18-day trip to Tanzania and Sierra Leone. 

She is the first Hollywood actor who came down to give a voice for the people who suffered in Cambodia. Angelina Jolie concentrates more on visiting people and helping them in many ways, rather than acting in Hollywood. This type of passion in her, made her as the Ambassador for the UNHCR Goodwill in the year 2002. After being appointed as the Ambassador, she had visited more than 30 countries and there was a heavy risk in visiting some countries. She never hesitated in visiting any country and she was brave enough to walk into any country.

Angelina Jolie has been financing many charity organizations all around the world. She indeed developed her own foundation named Jolie-Pitt foundation that was started upon to help the people with environmental conservation and community development in Cambodia. Her charity works have never stopped and what she does behind the camera has never been spoken out by anyone. This reflects how humble and generous Angelina Jolie is.

Apart from her charity works, Angelina Jolie has been appreciating some good talents all around the world. She will be visiting Sydney in the upcoming days for the premiere of a new feature film named as “My Cornerstone”. There has been a buzz that many Hollywood actors will be witnessed during the premiere of this film and no wonder Angelina Jolie will be the most beautiful women to appreciate the talent behind this film.
