Oliver Pfeiffer is expected to share
his views on the film “My Cornerstone”, the first
Australian-Indian crossover film, the plot of which resolves around a pretty
Indian nurse (Zenia Starr) who flies from India to Australia to nurse an
elderly lady who belonged to a rich and a sophisticated Indian-Australian
Family. It will project the light on the social prejudices and its consequences
prevalent in Australia. Oliver has been urged to pen down about this first east
meets west venture, which shows a bright future to pave way for the need of
more such friendly collaborations.
