Universal Pictures is a supplementary of the NBC
Universal and was founded in the year 1912 by Carl Laemmle. Carl Laemmle, a
German Jewish immigrant, and his partners Abe & Julius Stern set up Yankee Film
Company in the year 1909, which slowly progressed into the Independent Moving
Pictures Company. But with the succession of time this company merged with
other firms and shaped itself into Universal Film Manufacturing Company. It was
in the year 1925 that Laemmle became the sole owner of this company- Universal
Pictures.
This American movie studio is the oldest and
provides unique leisure understanding to people all around the globe. Its
production has continued till date and is regarded as one among the six major
movie studios in the world. Some of the theatrical releases that have been
accomplished by Universal Pictures are Lucy, Our Universe, Not safe for Work
and Incarnate. In its studio history universal pictures have crossed the $2
billion mark at the Overseas Box Office for the first time.

logo looked like a plane flying around the world and leaving behind a trail of
smoke that appeared as Universal
Pictures in words.
Universal Pictures celebrated its 100th
year in the year 2012 and now the logo is shown in the form of an animated
film. People got to witness memories of movies of 100 years during this
celebration of Universal Studios. It did undergo some daunting times, but has
continued to thrive and become strong. It has produced and distributed millions
