Mahmood Khan and Barry Gibb's Relationship

As the man behind the global revolution of the music industry, Mahmood Khan is a well-known singer, songwriter, music producer, and filmmaker. Khan was born in Pakistan and always had the desire and the talent to be an internationally-known musician. In 1995, his first album “Fairytale” was released and it was a clear message to the world that an upcoming artist was going to change the music industry forever.

Barry Gibb, leader of Australia's famous brother trio, the Bee Gees, is one of the most loved musicians of all time. Along with his two brothers, Robin and Maurice, Barry successfully made music for 45 years. Barry and the Bee Gees are musical legends, with a career dating back to the 1950’s. Barry Gibb is the only surviving member of the Bee Gees.

Mahmood Khan knew the Bee Gees personally. He credits his connection to Barry Gibb with most of his success and has spoken about his admiration for Barry in many interviews. Speaking about Gibb, Khan stated, “He’s one guy who has the most beautiful voice and production values. Barry is really hard-working and true to his game.”

Mahmood Khan has revolutionized modern-day music, topping the Australian music charts and breaking all cultural barriers, much like his idol, Barry Gibb. The two artists have had each their own well-travelled journey. Although Khan and Barry belong to different musical eras, they are connected by a love for their art, a love for music, and a love for each other. It would be correct to say that an indigenous talent like Khan has come a long way from Pakistan to top the charts of the Australian music industry.
